Vicar – James Paice
I am very pleased to welcome you to the St Luke’s website, and I hope to welcome you to one of our church activities soon. My wife and I have found St Luke’s to be a very friendly place, and an excellent church for children. We recommend coming to our 1030 service on Sunday mornings to find out more.
Youth and Women’s Ministry Worker – Ruth Dwyer
I grew up in Sheffield, went to Uni and had a year working and travelling abroad before coming to London.
My parents brought me up to know about Jesus and I became a Christian after joining a church where I was lovingly taught and challenged from the Bible to turn to him as Lord. I love swimming, cheese, stupid games & helping young people to hear about Jesus and how to live for him.
If you are reading this and aged 10-18 there is a group at St Luke’s for you. The Youth Team would love to meet you & introduce you to the other young people here. Please head over to the Youth page to find out more..
Church Administrator – Dharshika Sabaratnam
Although I come from a Christian family, I came to know Jesus as my personal saviour later in my life. I am married to George and we have a grown up daughter Regina. I love music and I sing in a chamber choir. I look forward to singing again when lockdown restrictions are fully lifted. I enjoy cooking, especially trying out new recipes and watching cookery programmes.
My daughter and I are very close and we enjoy doing activities together. Both my husband and I like to go for long walks and as a family we like to spend time outdoors.
Church Warden – Barrie Huckstepp
Along with his wife, Jen, Barrie is one of the longest serving members of our church family. If you need to know something, Barrie probably knows the answer! Barrie became a Christian at a Billy Graham crusade (a long time ago) and remains passionate about St Luke’s passing on the good news.
