Saturday 27th March – Easter bake along online for families

What: an online bake along (with Martha Collison and Faith in Kids)  for families to watch, bake Easter brownies and hear how Jesus has risen. Visit the Faith in Kids page for more information on the recipe and ingredients you will need.

Sunday 28th March – Palm Sunday Service

Time: 10:30 am
Where: St Luke’s Church building and Zoom

Our morning service has a traditional feel with a mix of teaching,  worship,  prayers, organ based hymns and contemporary songs that lasts for about 1 hour. Junior Church for 5 -11 year olds currently happens on Zoom at 9:30 AM. Please email Ruth for details.

Sunday 28th March –  Sunday 4th April – Easter Story Garden

What: Visit our garden to find out more about the Easter Story.  Read eye witness accounts and listen to what it might have felt like to be there that first Easter weekend. Why not bring along a decorated pebble to add to the garden?

Thursday 1st April – Maundy Thursday the start of a long night

What: A reflection on what happened on the first Maundy Thursday evening, including a clips from In The Steps of Jesus and a talk from Dr Peter Walker. This is a booked in advance event

Friday 2nd April – Good Friday Zoom Escape Room

What: A Zoom escape room session for families with 7-12 year olds – but younger/older children can join in too.

Do come along and why not decorate an Easter bonnet to wear on the day. Plus don’t forget to bring a flower to decorate the cross on the door of church.
