Advent and Christmas are a special time at St Luke’s. We celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Please join us to celebrate the “reason for the season”, at our Advent and Christmas services.

 

To help you plan your visit we have included our special services below:
Advent Window Trail - Sunday 6th - Sunday 20th December

Join in and follow the Christmas story around the parish with our first Advent Window Trail. We have 15 Christmas windows around the Parish with a hidden clue for you to complete the crossword on the map and a chance of winning a prize. We hope this activity that everyone can enjoy.

Who can join in?
This event is open to everyone. Adults, kids, friends and relatives are all welcomed to join in

When can I do it?
You can do the trail anytime between the 6-20th of December. This can be done during the daytime and windows will be lit
between 4 and 6pm each evening

How long does it take?
approximately 30mins – 1hr

How do I follow the trail?
Just download our Advent trail map and follow the directions

Where are the clues for me to complete the crossword and what do I do after I finished it?
Each Christmas window will have a hidden clue for you to complete the crossword. Once you have finished it post it in the church post box on Ryfold Road.

When will the winner be announced?
A winner will be picked and announced at the Torchlight Family Carol Service* at Wimbledon Park Primary School
(outside) at 4pm on December 20th.

Candlelight Service with Choir Carols - Sunday 13th December

Time: 6:00 pm

Join us for an uplifting night of traditional carols by candlelight to remember what’s at the very heart of the Christmas story at this special time of year.

Christmas Eve service with Holy Communion - Thursday 24th December

Time: 6:00 pm

Join us for our traditional and reflective service of Holy Communion, as we prepare for the good news that is to come on Christmas Day.

Christmas Day service with Holy Communion - Friday 25th December

Time: 10:30 am

Family, friends, guests, visitors and neighbours are welcome join us to celebrate the the birth of Jesus together.

This service is for all ages. There will be carols,  prayers, readings and Holy Communion.
