If you are 10-18 years old, it would be great to have you along to one of our youth groups.  There are some details below and if you have any questions, just e-mail or call Ruth 07714 751182.

And in case you’re wondering … you definitely don’t need to call yourself a Christian to come!

FRIDAY POINT (School Years 7+)

Friday Point runs in the church halls from 7-8.30pm every couple of weeks.

We have games, tuck, hang out together & a Bible Bite (time checking out who Jesus is, what he came to do & his message for us).

Please just come along to try us out, we often have new people.

Each term we squeeze in something like doughnuts in the dark, water sports, Airhop, or a jumbo pillow fight…

You are welcome to pop in to try us out – we often welcome new faces.

SUNDAY YOUTH (School Years 6-9)

Sunday Youth meets alongside the 6pm service. We spend a few minutes with the adults and then head out to hang out, have some fun, dig into God’s message to us & pray together.

On the second Sunday of each month we stay in church for an all together service.

SUNDAY LATE (School Years 10-13)

Sunday Late meets once a fortnight after the Sunday Evening service 7.30-8.30pm

We spend time getting to know one other better. Some weeks we chat about the sermon we’ve just heard or a thorny issue. Other times we get creative, play a game or have a late night breakfast.

St Luke’s Youth also has regular trips to Sorted & a highlight of the year for lots of the young people is summer camp with organisations like CAMPXL or Ventures.

Safeguarding our Children/Youth/Senior Citizens
All of our group leaders are DBS checked and we place the highest priority on child and vulnerable person protection & safety. Denise Brewer oversees our DBS process and can be contacted via our contact form.

St Luke’s Church has adopted the “A Safe Church” safeguarding policy recommended as best practice by Southwark Diocese. Click here to link to this policy in full. If anyone has any safeguarding concerns they should contact St Luke’s safeguarding officer, Denise Brewer, on our contact details or form. Alternatively, the diocesan safeguarding officer on duty can be contacted on 07982 279 713.
