On the first Thursday of most months St Luke’s runs a wonderful and popular lunch for senior citizens in our community. The mouth-watering array of home-cooked puddings is a particular highlight!
There are normally upwards of fifty people at the meal, enjoying good company, good food and after the meal we hear a short talk about the Christian faith given by one of our vicars.
The meal costs just £4 per person, payable on entry. To book a place for next month contact Sandra Ford on 07779 339638..
All volunteers at seniors lunch are subject to DBS safeguarding checks.
