Seniors Lunch

On the first Thursday of each month St Luke's runs a wonderful lunch for the Senior Citizens of the community. A talented team from the church provides a great meal, with the mouth-watering array of puddings a particular highlight!

There are normally upwards of fifty people at the meal, enjoying good company, good food and after the meal there's a chance to hear something of the great news of what God has done for us.

The meal costs just £4 per person, payable on entry. To book a place for next month contact Sandra on 07722 272695.

'Senior Service'

On the first Thursday of each month, prior to the Seniors Lunch, there is a short 'Senior Service' held at St Luke's.

At the service there is a reading from the Bible followed by a short talk to show us its meaning for our lives. There are also some prayers and an opportunity to remember Jesus' death in our place as we share in taking Communion together.

The service begins at 11.45am and all are welcome!
