If you are 10-18 years old, it would be great to have you along to one of our youth groups. There are some details below and if you have any questions, just e-mail or call Ruth 07714 751182. And in case you’re wondering … you definitely don’t need to call yourself a Christian to come!
FRIDAY POINT (sch yrs 7+)
Friday Point youth club takes over the church halls from 7-8.30pm on Friday.
We have games, tuck, fun hanging out with friends & checking out the Bible.
Please just come along to try us out, we often have new people.
Each term we squeeze in something like doughnuts in the dark, water sports, a beach party, sleep over, Airhop, text hunt, giant cook-in or jumbo pillow fight…
SUNDAY POINT (school years 6-9)
Sunday Point meets as part of the St Luke’s 6pm Evening Service.
We spend a few minutes in the main service and then head off to catch up, play some games and dig into the Bible.
This term we are looking at the very words of Jesus & thinking about the mission God gives us.
TEN25 (school years 10-13)
Our older youth group meets on a Sunday evening after the service with pizza – at 7.30pm
This term we are looking at the very words of Jesus and thinking about the mission God gives us.
We are doing KEEP GOING too. We eat pizza, eat cake, hang out and help each other get to know Jesus better.
Ten25 has also had some good times with a Safari Supper, volley ball and London trips.
St Luke’s Youth Groups also get together for Days Out such as Sorted Youth Work events in central London.
Safeguarding our Children/Youth/Senior Citizens
All of our group leaders are DBS checked and we place the highest priority on child and vulnerable person protection & safety. Lucy Roberts oversees our DBS process and can be contacted via our contact form.
St Luke’s Church has adopted the “A Safe Church” safeguarding policy recommended as best practice by Southwark Diocese. Click here to link to this policy in full. If anyone has any safeguarding concerns they should contact St Luke’s safeguarding officer, T Stileman, on our contact details or form.
