Vicar - James Paice
I am very pleased to welcome you to the St Luke's website, and I hope to welcome you to one of our church activities soon.
My family and I have not been at St Luke's long, but have already found it to be a very welcoming place, and an excellent church for children, including our own who are currently aged nine and six. We hope to see you soon!
Curate - William Rogers
I am married to Sharon and have 3 children. I enjoy competitive sport, cheap novels, predictable comedy and obituaries. My passion for sport is however tempered by my loyalty to a less than predictable football team. I spent 20 years in banking and finance before being ordained on the 4th July 2010. St Luke's is a wonderful Church with a heart for Christ and we have been overwhelmed by the welcome that we have received; a welcome that we would love to extend to anyone looking to come along. We hope to see you soon.
Assistant Minister - Sam Williamson
Leanna and I joined St Luke's in October 2009 and we have 3 Children: Ella, Suzanna and Zephaniah. Prior to this we spent 3 years working for an Anglican charity 'Durham Lesotho Link' in Lesotho, Africa. I am also studying Applied Theology at Moorlands Bible College. We all enjoy camping, walking and canoing (perfect activities for SW19)!?
Youth Worker - Dave Howarth
Dave joined St Luke's in July '09 and is heading up the children's and youth work here. Before joining St Luke's, Dave worked for four years at a church in Cambridge, which is also where he grew up.
Dave always fancied living in London, and so far it's great, except that everyone in this area seems to support Chelsea. Dave supports Spurs. Please keep that quiet...As well as Spurs winning, Dave is dead keen on music, art-house cinema, the West Wing and chocolate ice cream. Dave isn't so keen on his profile photo, but it's the best he could find.
Church Administrator - Jennifer Mukankusi
I come from Rwanda, and I lived in Africa all my life until June 2001 when I migrated to the U.K. I have spent the last 7 years trying to adjust to a totally new way of life and bringing up my one and only child,
Charmaine. We love it here in the U.K but it's been quite a challenge having to start from zero all over again.
I joined St Luke's Church in February 2009 and although quite challenging, it's a great pleasure being part of the family and being able to contribute to the running of the church. I look forward to a happy stay!
